Responder Link Us

First Responders

This page is intended to help first responders come on board with Responder Link.  Below you can find a list of Responders in our system. Not all the responders are connected. We connect those departments as they express interest and when clients in those areas subscribe.

Check out our Responder Directory to see if your department is one step away from coming online with ResponderLink.

ResponderLink works through a patent pending process that reads the SMS messages of dispatched calls from your dispatch center and then supplements the dispatch information with subscriber information that is stored on our server and input by our clients living in your response area.

The supplemental information is accessble from a hyperlink sent by ResponderLink via email or SMS to a cell phone, PDA, or laptop en route to an emergency.  The hyperlink is only valid for a limited time from the call of the incident.

Supplemental information includes: medical conditions, past surgeries, medications, residential hazards, floor plans, pictures of the residence/residents, etc.

First Responder Requirements

> 911 Dispatch Center with capability to dispatch emergency calls via text message (SMS messaging).
> Department owned cell phone with texting and internet services or laptop computer with air card on scene of emergency incident.
> Department activated in ResponderLink (You must contact our staff for activation).

Planned Advancements to ResponderLink to benefit First Responders

Currently being designed for future releases of ResponderLink are the following features:
> Text Dispatching
> Pre-Incident Planning
> Hydrant Mapping
> GPS Tracking
> Resourse Tracking
> ICS
> Reference Materials
These features will all be available FREE to First Responders in the future releases of ResponderLink.

In addition, as subscribers increase, Sullivan Security Systems, Inc. is planning for the development of a grant program to provide technology products to first responder agencies that work with our system, making our program more accessible to first responders.
